I'm a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. Most people come in thinking the question is what to eat, but that's only part of the story.
As a digestive health expert, I look at what your body is doing with what you already eat, and until that part works, changing the menu can only get you so far.
So digestion is where we begin. Where we go after that depends on what we find there and on your specific health goals.
For some people that's a handful of adjustments over a couple of months; for others it's a longer rebuild. Everything is based on your unique situation.

When someone needs the longer rebuild, I'm certified to coach the GAPS protocol.
Most diets are a list of things to stop eating. You cut something out, wait, and hope. GAPS is closer to the opposite. It's a sequence, developed by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, that takes your digestion down to the simplest thing it can handle and builds back up from there in a deliberate order.
You start with specific, nourishing foods that ask almost nothing of your gut, and from there you add foods back, one at a time, across six stages.
And because you're adding foods back in one at a time, you find out what your body actually does with each one. Most people finish the stages knowing more about their own digestion than years of elimination diets ever told them, because for once the variables were isolated.

Then you move into Full GAPS, which is a much wider way of eating and where most people stay for a while before transitioning off. For most people, It's not a permanent diet. It's a rebuild with an end.
I'll be honest that it asks a lot. You cook nearly everything you eat, and the middle stretch is the part people underestimate. In my experience, the ones who abandon it aren't the ones who got confused about food lists. They're the ones who hit week six on their own, felt something strange, and had no one to tell them whether it meant slow down or keep going.
That's the part I take on. We build the transition plan before you start so you're not improvising. I move you through the stages at the pace that keeps die-off manageable and works around your sensitivities.
You can ask me things between sessions, because that's when most of the questions come up. And when you want to jump a stage before you're ready, I'll tell you, which is worth more than it sounds.
Most people come to me having already spent years trying to figure out their digestive issues. This program is a few months, and most people only need to do it once.
